Common questions
Do I need an account to use loopixel?
No. Drawing, exporting, and saving locally all work without an account. Sign in only when you want to sync across devices or upgrade.
What's the difference between Free and Loopixel Max?
Free covers GIF export, 10 AI generations a day, and a 10-frame project cap. Max unlocks MP4 + WebM, removes the frame cap, raises AI quotas to 200/day, and grows your cloud library to 10 GB.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. Cancel from the billing portal — Loopixel Max stays active until the end of your billing period, then your account drops back to Free. Your projects stay.
What happens if I hit my AI limit?
The button shows a friendly message and unlocks again the next day (UTC midnight). Upgrade to Max for 200/day if you draw with AI a lot.
Is loopixel open source?
Not at the moment. The team is small, and curating the codebase + community is itself a job. We may open-source pieces (the export pipeline, the templates) over time.
